2020. Bushfires, floods, then… the autumn of the pandemic. Three blows to our small businesses here in the Blue Mountains, the heartbeat of our communities. This project is a nod to them: the owners and the people working hard to keep going. A BIG thank you to all of them for allowing me in with my camera . Now as we are in a long, long lockdown in 2021, these photographs are more relevant and more poignant than ever.
